Lyn has over 30 years of experience in the accounting and auditing field. She joined Acropolis in 2007 as Accountant. Prior to coming to Acropolis, Lynette’s experience included internal accounting work for BKD, LLP, accounting for Mark P. Dupont, Attorney at Law, and auditing at the Internal Revenue Service.

Portfolio Administrator Assistant
Mary joined Acropolis in 2007 as a Portfolio Administrator Assistant. She warmly greets clients as they come in the office and handles the steady stream of phone calls with professionalism and charm.
She is also responsible for assisting the Portfolio Administrators with paperwork, presentation material and mailings, working closely with the Office Administer to maintain an efficiently run office, working with vendors and assisting with the many Acropolis events.
Previously, Mary was the owner of Rock Springs Farm and Greenhouses, a wholesale grower. She still has the green thumb and bachelor’s degree in Horticulture to prove it!
Mary has three grown children, Nick, Erin and Dan, is active in her church working with the Grief Support and Women’s Retreat groups, and can be found most weekends, biking, hiking or swimming laps in the pool.

Office Administrator

Charlotte joined Acropolis in 2004 as the Office Administrator. She is responsible for reconciling daily data files for the performance measurement system, vendor coordination and event planning. She especially enjoys working as the Executive Assistant for the four partners. Charlotte also works as back office to the bond desk and is one of the friendly voices answering the Acropolis main telephone line.

Operations Manager
Bob joined the Acropolis team in 2004 and is currently the Operations Manager His primary responsibilities include human resources, IT support, client relationship management, reporting, and account administration.
Prior to joining Acropolis, Bob spent 18 years as a customer service specialist in a variety of roles, most recently in Tulsa, OK as a Service Relations Manager for EDS, Inc., where he managed information technology help desk services. He provided leadership and departmental direction as well as participating in contractual negotiations with clients and ensuring service level agreements were met.
Bob began his career as supervisor of passenger service and airport operations for US Airways at the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Over the course of his customer service career, Bob was responsible for quality assurance, training, employee development and procedural documentation.
Bob graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Economics and an emphasis in Finance. He is a registered investment advisor representative.

Manager, Acropolis Retirement Plan Solutions
Kristen Donovan joined Acropolis Retirement Plan Solutions as Manager in 2009. She is responsible for plan design consultation, implementation of new plans, participant education, fiduciary reviews and client relationship management.
Kristen brings with her more than 19 years of experience in the financial world, of which 17 have been spent directly working in the employee benefits field, specializing in 401(k) plans.
Prior to joining Acropolis, Kristen worked for Schwab Retirement Technologies, MetLife Retirement Plans, First Virginia Bank, RBG | The Benefits Group, Boatmen’s Trust Company and Mark Twain Bank. She held the positions of Senior Client Services Representative, Senior Account Executive, Assistant Vice President, Trust Relationship Officer and Plan Administrator.
Kristen received a BS degree, with honors, in Business Administration from St. Louis University and has completed a myriad of post graduate work in the area of employee benefits. Kristen is a registered investment advisor representative and has attained the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
Kristen’s civic involvement includes serving on the Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business Alumni Board of Directors. As the mother of two boys, she also enjoys volunteering at her children’s school and is a middle school youth group leader at their church.

Director, Acropolis Retirement Plan Solutions
Debra is responsible for overseeing the line of business and managing client satisfaction.
Prior to Acropolis, Debra worked in the retirement plan and financial services industries at General American Life Insurance, GenAmerica Financial and MetLife. As a retirement plan professional, she served as Account Executive, Participant Contact Center Manager, Senior Qualified Retirement Plan Design Consultant and the Chief of Staff for the Senior Vice President of MetLife Retirement Plans.
Debra graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri with an M.B.A. In addition, she has attained the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). Investment Analyst
Peter joined Acropolis Investment Management in 2007 as an Investment Analyst.
As a member of the Investment Committee, he works with other members to develop Acropolis’ overall investment policy and strategy. He is also responsible for researching, evaluating, and recommending equity securities as well as making portfolio recommendations to the Portfolio Managers.
Peter is a co-editor of Portfolio Insights, our quarterly newsletter covering markets, financial planning and economics. In addition, he authors a weekly newsletter, Market Minute, and is a regular contributor to the Acropolis blog. Peter has also written on other recognized financial websites such as Morningstar and Seeking Alpha.
Peter is a Level III CFA candidate and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management, and a minor degree in Business Administration from DePauw University.

Investment Analyst
Cliff Reynolds joined Acropolis Investment Management in 2007 as an analyst with a focus in fixed income securities.
He is a member of the Investment Committee, where he works with other members to develop Acropolis’ overall investment policy and strategy, in addition to analyzing and trading a variety of fixed income products including: mortgage-backed securities and agency, municipal and Treasury bonds on a daily basis. Cliff is also a regular contributor to the blog.
Cliff is a Level III CFA candidate and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics, and a minor degree in Accounting from Spring Hill College.

Investment Analyst

Minjung joined Acropolis in July 2004 and is an Investment Analyst and Investment Committee member. She is responsible for researching, evaluating, and recommending equity securities as well as monitoring and balancing the investment portfolios of the firm’s clients.
She also prepares and presenting firm-wide performance presentation composites and is Certified in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM). She is also responsible monitoring proxy votes and securities litigation.
Minjung graduated from Washington University in May 2004 with a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance and Marketing and is a current CFA charterholder.
She was born in Seoul, Korea, and is fluent in Korean.

Senior Investment Analyst
Ryan joined Acropolis in 2004 as a Senior Investment Analyst and trader, with the responsibility of evaluating and selecting fixed income securities to construct client portfolios. As a member of the Investment Committee, Ryan also helps to set Acropolis’ overall investment policy and strategy.
He came to Acropolis after spending three years as an Assistant Vice President in trading and sales for Commerce Bank’s Capital Markets Group. There he gained experience trading a wide variety of fixed-income products including: agency, corporate, municipal and Treasury bonds, as well as mortgage-backed securities, including pass-throughs and CMOs. His primary responsibility was serving the investment needs of his community bank clients.
Ryan graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Louis University in 2000 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Biology. In 2007, Ryan successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program and is currently a CFA Charterholder.

Senior Investment Analyst
Brent joined Acropolis in 2000 as an analyst studying the broad economic trends and the impact upon the markets from a global perspective.
In his current role as Senior Investment Analyst and Investment Committee member, he is responsible for evaluating and selecting equity securities for the Approved List and making portfolio recommendations to the Portfolio Managers.
Each day, Brent writes Daily Insights and reviews of the prior day’s market activity together with an evaluation of current economic data, trends, government policy changes and their anticipated impact on the market.
Brent received his MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Missouri shortly after completing his undergraduate work with a B.S. in Economics.

Portfolio Administrator
Brigid joined Acropolis in 2007 as a Senior Portfolio Administrator. She is primarily responsible for client relationship management and portfolio monitoring.
Brigid brings 11 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Acropolis, Brigid was employed by F&M Bank and Trust Company as Assistant Vice President of Trust Services and Financial Consultant serving the Hannibal and O’Fallon, Missouri markets. She also worked as an Investment Consultant for TD Ameritrade in Clayton, Missouri.
Brigid is a registered investment advisor representative and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University. Brigid also graduated from Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School I, II, and III at Pepperdine University.
Brigid’s civic involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Lake St. Louis/Dardenne Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce and as a Board Member of VISION Leadership of St. Charles County.

Deb started her investment career in 1990 as an Investment Advisor with Edward Jones where she managed her own business with a commitment to serving her clients needs, objectives and goals with integrity. In 1995, Deb joined Mark Twain Brokerage Services until the Mercantile Bank merger in 1997.
In 1997, prior to joining Acropolis, Deb was a Financial Consultant For Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for nine years where she was committed to building client relationships through superior client service and support. Additionally, Deb was a member of the Schwab Diversity Task Force to encourage diversity to better serve a heterogeneous client base.

Joe joined Acropolis as Portfolio Manager in 2008 after a 35-year career in commercial banking.

He earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2003, his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1993 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Drake University. He is a registered investment advisor representative.
His civic involvement includes Boys and Girls Club of St. Charles County, Sports St. Charles County and Rotary International of St. Peters, Missouri.

Prior to joining Acropolis, Dan was an Investment Consultant at Charles Schwab and a Financial Advisor at Prudential Securities.
He developed his service-oriented focus as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army and also as a logistics manager in manufacturing before beginning his career in financial services in 1998. Dan earned a B.S.B.A. in Marketing Logistics from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
Dan has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Prior to joining Acropolis, John spent six years at A.G. Edwards & Sons as a fixed-income research analyst covering the investment-grade and high-yield corporate bond markets.

A s a partner of Acropolis, Mike is responsible for developing and managing client relationships. He performs portfolio analysis, directs the firm’s financial modeling efforts, and leads the Retirement Planning/401(k) line of business.
Prior to joining Acropolis, Mike was a Senior Manager in the financial services practice of Accenture. During his tenure, Mike led projects in retail and investment banking, with an emphasis on high-net-worth private banking.

Dannelle is one of the founding partners of Acropolis. She is responsible for client relationship management as well as portfolio design and analysis. Dannelle also oversees all compliance, administrative and regulatory matters for the firm.
Prior to starting Acropolis, Dannelle was Vice President and Assistant Managing Director in the Mark Twain Bank Institutional Fixed-Income Group, where she oversaw the hedging activities of the trading account.
Dannelle earned a B.S. in Business and Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is a registered investment advisor representative.

David Ott is one of the founding members of Acropolis Investment, LLC.
In addition to working with Private Clients and Retirement trustees, David serves the firm in a variety of capacities including serving as the head of the Investment Committee. The Committee sets asset allocation policy, selects individual stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for the Approved List, and determines the broad fixed income strategy (duration, credit exposure, etc.) for clients.
David created Portfolio Insights, our quarterly newsletter covering markets, financial planning and economics and is still a co-editor. He also writes a bi-monthly electronic newsletter, “Dave Ott’s Due Diligence” and contributes to the website with various blog posts and investment book reviews.
In addition to writing for Acropolis, David is contributor at Morningstar and Seeking Alpha, two well recognized financial websites. He is a ‘Gold Certified Contributor’ at Seeking Alpha.
To demonstrate our commitment to high standards, David instituted and currently supervises the performance composite program and CEFEX certification from the Centre of Fiduciary Excellence.
David is also the original creator of the Acropolis Financial Forecaster®, although he readily concedes that Michael Lissner is the chief architect for the current version.
Previously in his career, David created the first FDIC-insured multi-currency CD (known today as the Geographic Index CD) that served as the foundation of more than a dozen multi-currency CDs with different currency and weighting construction methodologies.
In 2004, David and his wife created the Family Fertility Fund through BJC Hospital to help couples afford the high cost of infertility treatments. Over the years, he and his wife helped raise more than $100,000 for the cause and are very proud to say that ten couples who received financial assistance had children of their own.
David also served as the Treasurer for three years while on the Board of Directors at Craft Alliance during his tenure on the Board between 2003 and 2007. Currently, he serves on the Investment Committee for City Academy.
David earned a B.A. in Political Science from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He is a St. Louis native and enjoys time with his wife of more than ten years and two elementary school age daughters.

President & Partner

Chris Lissner, one of the founding partners of Acropolis, has over 30 years of experience successfully managing financial assets through a wide variety of market environments. Prior to starting Acropolis in 2002, Chris served for 13 years as Senior Vice President, Managing Director for Mark Twain Bank’s Capital Markets Group. Chris began his career in 1980 with Bear Stearns & Company on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Today he continues to work with a select group of clients and consult with various institutional accounts together with participating in the ALCO process for several banks.
Chris has experience implementing investment strategies for a variety of organizations and situations. Expertise includes: asset/liability analysis, asset allocation analysis, individual security analysis including: domestic, global and preferred stock analysis; the analysis of structure, liquidity and credit risks of rated debt securities, including: mortgages, agencies, treasuries, corporates, municipals, money markets, asset-backed, swaps, futures and options. Recognized as a student of the economy, he periodically prepares and presents market and economic outlook speeches for various organizations.
He is currently serving as a member ofthe Board of Directors for Ullico Inc. and on the Board of Trustees for The Sheldon Concert Hall. He has served on multiple charitable boards and remains active in the community today. Chris earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
