Greek Architecture We know that for all of the sophisticated investment strategies that we employ, clients will be dissatisfied without timely, responsive service. Our commitment to strong client relationships is built into our structure, communications and service standard.

Team Structure
The very nature of your relationship with Acropolis facilitates superior service.

By having a team that includes a Portfolio Manager (PM) and a Portfolio Administrator (PA) that serves each client, we ensure that two people from the firm know you and understand your situation.

Although the PM/PA are your primary contacts with Acropolis, we also have a group of Analysts on the team working behind the scenes to make sure that your account is properly invested.

Clients also have access to one of the Partners of the firm since we are a small ‘boutique’ working with a relatively small number of clients. (See Firm Facts)

Communication
Investing is complex, ambiguous and fast-changing. Since this can be unsettling, we recognize the value of timely, relevant and continuous communication.

Regular meetings are the foundation of our client communications. These meetings are generally face-to-face, but they can also be accomplished over the phone depending on your location. At the outset of a client relationship, we believe that a quarterly meeting is best. As time goes on, most clients agree that a semi-annual meeting in addition to periodic phone calls is more than sufficient.

We also make a point to call in between meetings when there is market turbulence or if a specific issue related to your account arises. Of course, we welcome phone calls and emails anytime if you need anything or have questions.

Service Standards
We also still do some of the simple things that other firms seem to overlook:

  • Real people answer the phone.
  • No phone-tree or voicemail.
  • Return phone calls within one business day.
  • Return emails within twelve hours.


We also make sure that many of the small issues are properly dealt with, including cash management, trade settlement, proxy voting, IRA beneficiary designations, cost basis tracking, etc.
